Important Information about your Trademark Registration

AWA wishes to bring to your attention that the existence or exercise of trademark registrations is usually subject to certain conditions that vary from country to country.

Such conditions cover, inter alia:

• the use of the trademark,
• whether or not it is compulsory to use a marking such as “registered trademark”,
• whether or not it is necessary to register a change of ownership in order to use the trademark against a third party,
• whether or not the trademark may be licensed and whether or not a license should be recorded in the national registry, and
• whether or not the trademark may be pledged.
