The Legal 500 Asia Pacific features AWA Asia as a Leading Firm
We are pleased to announce that AWA Asia has again been ranked as a leading firm by The Legal 500 in the 2021 edition for the Asia Pacific region.
In addition to the firm ranking, Ai-Leen Lim, Ashley Zhao and Xiaofan Chen were all individually ranked as recommended lawyers for Intellectual Property: Foreign Firms in China.
The Legal 500 obtained the following testimonials as part of the research process:
“‘AWA Asia’s biggest strength, in my experience, is its ability to get to the heart of any problem quickly and accurately. The team provides helpful and creative advice that is based on solid legal principles rather than just a treatise on the law, which does not help clients decide what action to take. In other words, they highlight the path that is most likely to succeed for the least cost.’”
“‘Clients really appreciate the thoughtful and sound advice that is based on what is best for that particular client.’”
“‘They make me look good by avoiding extra back and forth with the client by raising all relevant issues at the front end, as well as pointing out potential short cuts that will fix the client’s trademark problem faster and for less cost. In my book, this service is absolutely invaluable.’”
Published annually, The Legal 500 Asia Pacific provides commentary and insight into the legal marketplaces of 25 Asia Pacific jurisdictions. Researchers carry out extensive research into each jurisdiction, canvassing law firms and contacting more than 300,000 clients for feedback on the lawyers they instruct. The 2021 edition was launched on January 13, 2020.
