We are pleased to announce that Chambers has listed AWA’s offices in China and Denmark in the Intellectual Property 2022 Global Rankings.
The Chambers Global Guide ranks the top lawyers and law firms in over 200 jurisdictions across the world.
Chambers commented that AWA in China “is a noted practice that has increasing visibility in the market and offers advice in Hong Kong and Beijing to international clients from the life sciences, automotive, retail, consumer goods and technology sectors. Focuses on IP portfolios, including trademarks, designs and patents. Also able to advise on domain name and design protection mandates as well as commercial IP agreements.”
Chambers noted that AWA in Denmark has “great visibility in the market and extremely positive feedback. The law firm advises clients on a range of IP issues, such as management of trademark portfolios and strategy, and copyright and patent matters, including infringement litigation. AWA represents a broad array of domestic and international clients, notably from the pharmaceutics and fashion sectors.”
In addition to the firm rankings, Ai-Leen Lim and Anette Rasmussen received individual lawyer rankings.
“Ai-Leen Lim maintains a highly active IP practice and is widely known for her experience handling trademark and patent filings and oppositions, in addition to advising companies on portfolio management. She wins acclaims for her business acumen and client service. ‘She is very business-minded and very practical. She learns about our clients and what’s important to them. It’s difficult to navigate the trademark market in China, so we really rely on her as day-to-day business partner in China.’”
“Anette Rasmussen received great market feedback. She has experience in trademark portfolio management and infringement cases. One client commented: ‘Anette Rasmussen is responsive and provides common-sense, practical advice.’”
