Hanna Nilsson is a Patent Associate at the Stockholm office in the Physics and Mechanics Team. Her specialisation during her studies was focused on image analysis and machine learning. Prior to joining AWA, she worked as a Consultant Software Developer within healthcare.

Before joining AWA, Hanna worked as a Consultant Software Developer within the field of healthcare and MedTech. She gained experience in full-stack development, cloud computing and data-driven improvements during this time.
Hanna graduated from the Faculty of Engineering at Lund University with a Master of Science degree in Engineering Physics. She studied a wide range of courses within the world of physics and mathematics as well as mechanics and programming. Her specialisation was Image Analysis & Machine Learning, which resulted in her master’s thesis at NVIDIA in Lund. Here Hanna evaluated a novel metric to be used in machine learning.
Parallel with her studies, Hanna was also engaged in several types of non-profit work. One of these was as co-founder of FREJA, a network for women and non-binary who studied physics, mathematics or nanoscience at LTH. The aim is to contribute to a more equal technology business.
