The final week is approaching
25 February 2015
...and it is approaching fast! The end of the trainee program is now on the horizon, and I look forward to discover how things will change after "getting out of school" again. Speaking of change, returning back to Stockholm has brought both expected (such as the winter coming, and going, and coming, and going, and comi...well, you get the point, and that R.R. Martin guy surely appears to have missed a couple of details!) and unexpected change, the latter in terms of reorganization at the office, including some people leaving and others joining. Hopefully something good will come out of that too!
Work-wise, the last couple of weeks have been fun, and hectic, and I have been assigned much work to be finished before spring arrives. Although things progress slowly, I feel like I am now getting a hang of at least some parts of the job. At least that is what I believe, and I will do so until proven otherwise.
To end this rather short blog post, I was happy to finally getting contacted by a perpetuum mobile inventor. I honestly expected it to take less time before the first one showed up. Unfortunately for him, and other "optimistic" people, we are all better off following the premises of physics. "In this house, we obey the laws of thermodynamics", as Homer Simpson so eloquently once put it. :-)
