Time travel apparatus

  1. A time travel apparatus comprising a vehicle with a maximum speed that exceeds 88 miles per hour, a display suitable for showing three points in time, means for inputting digits,
    c h a r a c t e r i z e d in that, said apparatus further comprises a flux capacitor and a power source adapted to produce 1.1 – 1.3 GW, preferably 1.21 GW, wherein said apparatus is capable of travelling through time, wherein any objects, persons or animals present in said vehicle also travel through time.
  2. A time travel apparatus according to claim 1, wherein said vehicle has hovering capabilities.
  3. A time travel apparatus according to any of the preceding claims, wherein said power source is a Mr. Fusion Home Energy Reactor or a nuclear reactor using plutonium.
  4. A time travel apparatus according to any of the preceding claims, wherein said vehicle is a DeLorean DMC-12.

And so on... Yes, I love the Back to the future trilogy.

One of the things I look forward to with being a patent attorney, besides helping clients protecting their immaterial property is to know about new inventions often long before they are on the market. Imagine a client disclosing a flying car, a revolutionary energy source or a drug that effectively cures HIV. That, sadly, will probably not happen to me. But chances have increased since I joined Awapatent. Already I have heard about new interesting inventions. Perhaps not with the same impact as the ones I just listed, but still. More than once after I have heard about a new invention I have come home from work to say "I heard about this cool thing at work.... Nevermind. I can't tell you anyway".
