World Intellectual Property Day on 26 April

On 26 April every year, WIPO invites everybody to celebrate World Intellectual Property Day in order to promote discussion of the role of intellectual property in encouraging innovation and creativity. This year World Intellectual Property Day focuses on the theme Creativity – Next Generation.

Mona Karlsson, European Patent Attorney, from Awapatent will participate in a World IP Day event in Östersund, arranged by the Swedish Patent and Registration Office (PRV), Vinnova and Miun Innovation. Ms Karlsson will give a presentation on Intellectual Property and be available to answer questions from the visitors. Read more about the event here.
