Magnus Hallin is the CEO and leader of the AWA Group and has been since 2007. Magnus has worked for AWA and in the IP field for most of his professional life. From 1997 to his appointment as Group CEO in 2007, he worked as an IP lawyer in AWA advising clients in areas such as brand management, litigation, licensing and IP portfolio development. Magnus continues to advise clients on the strategic use of IP and how IP can improve business results.

Magnus Hallin is the CEO and leader of the AWA Group and have been since 2007. Magnus has worked for AWA and in the IP field for most of his professional life. From 1997 to his appointment as Group CEO in 2007, he worked as an IP lawyer advising clients in areas such as brand management, litigation, licensing and IP portfolio development. Prior to that he competed district court service and worked for a general practice law firm dealing mainly with litigation.

Magnus continues to advise clients on the strategic use of IP and how IP can improve business results. In his role as Group CEO he is the CEO of AWA Holding AB and AWA Sweden AB and chairman of the board of AWA Denmark A/S, AWA Asia Ltd and AWA IPro AB. In addition to his role as leader of the AWA Group he is generally interested and involved in the development of companies and the IP business. He has been a member of the Advisory Board of the Swedish Patent office since 2012. He is specifically interested in the strategic use of IP as a business tool by companies and how IP can be used to increase sales, profit and value as well as decrease risk and cost.
