Martin Jansson joins AWA Strategy
AWA Strategy welcomes Senior IP Strategist Martin Jansson to the Gothenburg-based team.
Prior to joining AWA Strategy, Martin spent 14 years working with IP in the industrial sector in various positions and different aspects of IP. The past eight years he was the Head of IP Strategy & Intellectual Assets at SKF, where he managed a global team responsible for developing and implementing SKF’s IP strategies, and intellectual asset management capabilities.
Martin has extensive experience of strategic and operational IP portfolio management, but also as IP manager in strategic projects, with the responsibility to challenge, develop and define how to manage and leverage the company’s intellectual assets in new offerings and business models. In addition, he has been responsible for numerous M&A, innovation collaboration projects and partnerships in relation to intellectual assets and IP.
Martin holds a M.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering from Chalmers University of Technology. He is listed on the “IAM Strategy 300 – The World’s Leading IP Strategists”, a member of the advisory board of the Centre for Intellectual Property in Gothenburg and the Vice Chairman of the VIRK board (West Sweden Association for Intellectual Property).
He teams up with Head of Strategy Henrik Olsson, Senior IP Strategist Thomas Ewing and IP Strategy Associate Erica Dahlgren Nurman.
