Henrik Berg is a Patent Associate within the PhysMech/EL IT Team. He has experience in aerodynamic development and certification from the automotive industry as well as extensive knowledge within the fields of fluid and solid mechanics.

Prior to joining AWA, Henrik was employed as an Analysis Engineer at Volvo Cars within the aerodynamics department. During this time, he worked as an aerodynamic specialist, developing passenger vehicles using CFD simulations and empirical methods. He was also responsible for the aerodynamic part of the WLTP certification of Volvo’s vehicles fleet.
In 2018, he finished his master’s thesis at Volvo Cars Aerodynamics where he was later was employed. The thesis identified significant wheel design parameters’ effect on the aerodynamic drag of passenger vehicles. In 2019, the thesis was published as a paper at the SAE conference and chosen for a second publication as one of its top papers.
