Doris Zoric
Doris holds a PhD in Chemistry from the University of Gothenburg, with a specialization in protein biochemistry and structural biology. She also has a strong background in Life Science, gained through her university education and several domestic and international internships.
Before joining AWA, she was an Associate Researcher at the University of Gothenburg. She worked with applied advanced techniques such as X-ray crystallography and X-ray absorption spectroscopy at global radiation facilities to study cytochrome c oxidase, a key protein in aerobic respiration.

Doris also brings hands-on experience from her earlier work in Quality Control for 3D bioprinting, where she acquired the know-how of using biocompatible hydrogels with extrusion techniques to establish 3D cell cultures. In addition, Doris has supported early-stage startups in advanced tissue engineering and biofabrication with business strategy development. Her interests include advanced therapies, personalised medicine, green technologies, and sustainable industries.
