Important Information about your Registered Design

AWA wishes to bring to your attention that the existence or exercise of trademark registrations is usually subject to certain conditions that vary from country to country.

Such conditions cover, inter alia:

• the working of the design,
• whether or not it is compulsory to use a marking such as “registered XXXXX”,
• whether or not it is necessary to register a change of ownership in order to use the design against a third party,
• whether or not the design may be licensed and whether or not a license should be recorded in the national registry, and
• whether or not the design may be pledged.

On request, AWA can provide you with information on all or some of the issues above which are specific to the country where your design is registered.
