AWA secures Nordic Firm of the Year at Managing IP EMEA Awards 2024

AWA was awarded the regional Nordic Firm of the Year and Denmark Patent Prosecution Firm of the Year at the Managing IP European, Middle East, and Africa (EMEA) Awards 2024.

In addition, Mikkel Roed Trier was also presented with the Denmark Practitioner of the Year award for the second year.

Managing IP presented AWA with the awards on April 11 in London during a ceremony honouring the best IP achievements made by firms over the past twelve months.

Henrik Aurell, Sissel Bøe-Sollund, Stefan Borch Bilfeldt, Alicia Kim and Vibeke Warberg Rohde represented AWA on the night and accepted the awards for the entire firm.

In total, AWA received nominations in 12 categories. For national categories, the nominations spanned patent and trademark prosecution and disputes in Belgium, Denmark and Sweden. Regional nominations included Benelux, Europe and Nordic awards. For Practitioner of the Year, Mikkel Roed Trier in Denmark and Niklas Mattsson in Sweden were both nominated.

The Awards are now in their nineteenth year and are a key date on the global IP calendar.
